My 2008 Fall Screenwriting Class
    Six Saturdays, 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
    September 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, October 4th, and October 11th.
    at Portland State University, downtown Portland.

    Cost of the class is $495.

I'll reveal everything aspiring screenwriters need to know about writing and selling a movie script to Hollywood, cable TV, or network television in this informative class.

The course includes:
How to Chose an idea. Three Act Structure. Scene Cards. Story boards. Subplots. Dialogue. Hiding Exposition. Buttoning your scenes. Character development. Conflict. Climaxes. How to write a great opening sequence. Format. Pitching. Polishing. Breaking in.

I've sold dozens of screenplays and been nominated for many awards including the Emmy, Cable Ace, WGA, Humanitas and Edgar Allan Poe Award. My students have gone on to successful careers, writing such hits as Face/Off, The Mask, The Simpsons, Child's Play and many others.
