How to Chose an idea. Three Act Structure. Scene Cards. Story boards.
Subplots. Dialogue. Hiding Exposition. Buttoning your scenes.
Character development. Conflict. Climaxes. How to write a great
opening sequence. Format. Pitching. Polishing. Breaking in.
I've sold dozens of screenplays and been nominated for many
awards including the Emmy, Cable Ace, WGA, Humanitas and Edgar Allan Poe
Award. My students have gone on to successful careers, writing such
hits as Face/Off, The Mask, The Simpsons, Child's Play and many others.
